You are as comfortable leading development teams and owning technical architecture as you are diving into the details of Clean Core extensibility, ABAP Cloud, and BTP. You bring the communication and people skills to inspire teams to bring their A-game and to advise senior client stakeholders with confidence development & technical architecture. Own the technical architecture for SAP custom development and extensibility - define the Clean Core strategy and the 3-tier extensibility model (key-user in-app, developer extensibility / ABAP Cloud, and side-by-side on BTP), plus target-state development standards. Provide thought leadership on modern SAP development using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, Generative AI Hub, and SAP Business AI (Joule / Joule Studio). own code reviews and architecture sign-offs across global delivery teams in client-facing roles. Travel may be required for this role, from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements. Minimum of 8 years experience developing SAP applications using

S/4HANA ABAP

(NetWeaver 7.4/7.5) and ABAP Cloud. Minimum of 5 years experience with SAP BTP tools and services (latest Application Development and Automation stack). Minimum of 4 years experience with data modeling using CDS views, AMDP, OData, or related custom development. Minimum of 4 years SAP custom development using Fiori-first, Clean Core, and BTP side-by-side approaches, including RAP. Prior experience supporting the Chemicals & Natural Resources industry/clients Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience). If Associate's Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Bonus Points If:

You have 1+ years with Cloud Application Programming You've earned an SAP certification in ABAP Cloud, BTP (Developer or Solution Architect), or SAP Business AI / Generative AI. You have hands-on exposure to SAP Build (Build Apps, Build Process Automation, Build Work Zone) and CAP (Node.js / Java). You have DevOps for SAP - Git-based transport / gCTS, CI/CD, and automated testing (e.g., ABAP Unit, ADT). You have familiarity with SAP Business AI - Joule, Joule Studio, and Generative AI Hub grounding / RAG patterns.
