12 MonthsWe are seeking experienced Technical Project Managers to support major utility new business programs focused on electric and gas infrastructure projects. These individuals will be responsible for managing customer-driven energy initiatives from application through construction, partnering with internal stakeholders, customers, engineers, permitting agencies, and field teams to drive projects to completion.
This role is ideal for a project manager with a strong utility background who understands new business processes, permitting, customer applications, and construction workflows. Candidates with direct experience supporting utility providers will be highly valued.
ResponsibilitiesManage multiple new business projects simultaneously from initiation through completionSupport customer energy infrastructure projects, including:
EV charging installationsDistributed energy resourcesBattery storage systemsSolar energy projectsCoordinate permitting, engineering, construction, and customer-facing activitiesReview and process customer applications and service requestsDevelop project schedules, budgets, and status reportingFacilitate communication among customers, contractors, engineering teams, field personnel, and leadershipTrack project milestones, risks, issues, and deliverablesSupport cost estimating, project approvals, and execution planningMonitor project performance and ensure timely completion of deliverablesProvide regular updates to internal and external stakeholdersDrive process improvements and support program objectives within the New Business organization Skills and Requirements 5+ years of Project Management experience within the utility, energy, infrastructure, construction, or engineering industriesStrong understanding of utility processes, customer application workflows, permitting, and construction supportExperience leading cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholdersExcellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentExperience utilizing project management methodologies and best practiceDirect experience supporting utility programs and operationsExperience with electric or gas utility new business projectsFamiliarity with Rule 20 and Rule 45 processesExperience using:
