Job Description

PURVIS Systems is a technology solutions partner that develops, implements and maintains mission-critical solutions for federal and local government agencies. PURVIS has an immediate opening for a Technical Project Manager to support Senior Engineers at our client location. The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include: Qualified candidates should have demonstrated skills and experience in some or all the following disciplines: Providing support to engineering teams and project managers with project oversight and documentation Risk Management - Identification, documentation and tracking of project risks. Development of risk management plans. Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) updates and maintenance using Microsoft Project Project/Technical meeting support - prepare/gather/distribute meeting agenda and materials coordinate/attend project meetings, participate in meeting, prepare, and distribute meeting minutes, coordinate, and track action items. Support updates to project technical documentation including System Engineering Plans, Test Plans, Configuration Management Plans, Quality Assurance Plans, etc.
Qualifications:
High School diploma is required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Engineering background a plus. A minimum of five (5) years' experience supporting Navy systems. Proficient with Microsoft Project Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite and Navy software systems. The candidate must have strong organizational, communication, and technical writing skills, and be able to successfully work independently as well as in a team environment with customers, peers, and support personnel. Accuracy, quality, and attention to detail are also critical required skills. Candidate must have or be able to obtain a government security clearance to the level of
