About the Role TechCentric is a managed service provider based in Providence, RI. We support small and mid-size businesses across the Northeast, managing their technology environments so they can focus on running their business. We are looking for a Technical Project Manager who came up through the technical ranks. This is not a role for a project manager who only knows how to run a spreadsheet and a status meeting. We want someone who has done the engineering work, understands what the steps actually are because they have executed them, and can scope a project, delegate the pieces, and drive it to completion. You will own project delivery across our client base. That means taking a project from kickoff to close, breaking it into the right steps, assigning the right people, keeping it on schedule, and being the person accountable for it landing. Because you know the technical work, you can teach it, spot when something is off, and step in when a project needs a hand rather than just flagging that it is behind. The right person is organized to a fault, sees around corners, and gets satisfaction from things being done right and finished. You should be comfortable in front of clients and comfortable holding a technical team to a plan. What You Will Do

• Own project delivery end to end, from scoping and planning through execution and closeout
• Break projects into clear steps, assign resources, and keep work on schedule
• Serve as the client point of contact through the project lifecycle
• Teach and delegate, developing the team's ability to execute rather than doing it all yourself
• Step in technically when a project needs it
• Keep documentation, timelines, and expectations clear and current
• Catch problems early and drive them to resolution What We Are Looking For
• A technical background with real hands-on experience, ideally having come up through an engineering or systems role in an MSP or IT environment
• Proven ability to run multiple projects at once and see them through to completion
• Strong understanding of the technologies our projects involve, Windows Server, M365, networking, virtualization, infrastructure migrations
• Excellent organization and follow-through, nothing falls through the cracks
• Strong communicator, able to teach, delegate, and hold people accountable
• Comfortable client-facing and able to translate between technical teams and business stakeholders
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license
• PMP, ITIL, or relevant technical certifications are a plus, not required Nice to Have
• Prior engineering or senior technical role before moving into project management
• Experience with PSA and project tooling (ConnectWise a plus)
• Exposure to compliance-driven project work in regulated environments Compensation and Benefits
