Project Manager - Project Lead Concordant LLC | Columbia, SC | Onsite About the Role Concordant LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Project Lead to support a government client in Columbia, SC. This is a fully onsite role responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects through solicitation, selection, contract negotiation, acquisition, implementation, migration, archival, and sunset of legacy applications.
Compensation:
$42/hour ($80,640 annualized equivalent) Daily Duties / Responsibilities Plan, organize, and manage all project management activities for agency-wide initiatives as an experienced project manager. Demonstrate project management expertise in both traditional and agile methodologies and influence project team compliance with industry best practices. Manage the overall planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects in parallel. Control scope and schedule to ensure project deliverables, milestones, and required tasks are completed as planned. Bring strong project management expertise, the ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives. Plan and conduct project status and review meetings. Prepare project status reports and provide updates to project stakeholders and sponsors. Must be able to work with a diverse group of professionals at all levels of the agency. Prepare necessary documentation to support project initiatives. Manage development of project documentation for new services assigned. Ensure all required project documentation is developed and maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Engage in ongoing process improvement around delivery, methodology, and other relevant areas. Identify potential problems proactively and facilitate problem resolutions by implementing risk mitigation strategies. Current projects include but are not limited to the following: Mortgage Servicing and Mortgage Production technology solution Development and Compliance Monitoring technology solution Contract Administration technology solution Agency Business Continuity Space Needs - Assess facility requirements for a new location that supports workforce needs, operational efficiency, and future growth Required Skills 5+ years of experience in IT project management 3+ years of experience in Hybrid (Agile and Waterfall) Project Management 3+ years of experience in Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development 3+ years of experience in Risk Management 3+ years of experience in Resource Management 3+ years of experience in Change Management 3+ years of experience in Budget Planning Preferred Skills Process Improvement Financial Principles Accounting Principles Mortgage Principles Additional Skills Interpersonal, collaborative, presentation, and facilitation skills Detail-oriented, accurate, and organized Analytical thinking and problem solving Customer service driven Teamwork Ability to work as an individual contributor Required Education Bachelor's degree and project management experience managing large projects of moderate complexity and risk.
