Torch Technologies is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to provide advisory and assistance services to the Air Force at Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) in Tullahoma, TN. This may include serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, guiding project execution, optimizing operational workflows, and ensuring mission objectives are met efficiently. You will not just track tasks, but actively shape strategy, mitigate risks, and build capacity within the supported organization. As a Senior Technical Project Manager your duties include, but are not limited to: Provide expert guidance and recommendations to government stakeholders on project planning, resource allocation, and mission execution. Review project lifecycles including schedules, milestones, and deliverables. Provide input and monitor project timelines. Advise teammates on best practices in project management, operational planning, and continuous improvement. Act as the primary liaison between cross-functional teams, leadership, and external partners to ensure alignment and resolve operational bottlenecks. Draft and present high-level briefings, decision memos, and situational reports to senior decision-makers. Proactively identify project risks and develop comprehensive mitigation strategies to ensure uninterrupted mission support. Participate in project status meetings/calls and provide meeting minutes. Assist in maintaining accurate documentation of project activities, decisions, and outcomes. Develop Independent Government Estimates (IGE). Ability to develop program plans and technical roadmaps. Ability to work independently or with a team, demonstrate strong initiative, and organize tasking with minimal supervision. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Excellent people, organizational, management, computer, and leadership skills. Ability to plan, coordinate, and support product development in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment at a strategic level.
Required Qualifications:
U.S.Citizenship Level 3 - BS in Science or Engineering Field and 3-10+ years of experience Level 4: BS or MS and 10+ years of experience Must be able to obtain a Secret DoW Security clearance with active investigation. Must be able to maintain required clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Prior experience with government project management.
