WMS & ERP Enterprise Application Manager 10923 We are currently looking for candidates with deep Warehouse Management System (WMS) and warehouse-process expertise. This role will serve as a key liaison among Operations, IT, and external technology vendors while supporting enterprise system integrations, an ERP implementation, and an upcoming WMS upgrade. Key Responsibilities
Serve as the subject-matter expert for warehouse processes, including receiving, put-away, inventory management, picking, packing, and shipping.
Lead requirements gathering, process mapping, workflow design, functional specifications, and procedure development.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), defect resolution, stakeholder approval, and implementation readiness.
Serve as an IT escalation point for system issues that cannot be resolved through first-line support.
Troubleshoot system and integration issues and coordinate with external vendors through resolution when escalation is required.
Oversee data exchanges among WMS, ERP, CRM, customer, and other enterprise applications.
Define data mappings, business rules, exception handling, validation, and reconciliation requirements.
Apply working knowledge of APIs, middleware, EDI, and file-based interfaces to support integration decisions.
Manage vendor priorities, timelines, deliverables, defects, and enhancements.
Support an enterprise ERP implementation, helping ensure data integrity and alignment among system configuration, integrations, and business processes.
Support an upcoming WMS upgrade as the liaison between the technology vendor and operations teams, coordinating testing, implementation, rollout, and stabilization.
Qualifications
Significant WMS and warehouse-operations experience.
Experience integrating WMS platforms with ERP and other enterprise systems.
Strong business analysis, process design, testing, and documentation skills.
Proven system troubleshooting and vendor-management experience.
Ability to translate business and operational requirements effectively for technical teams and partners.
Technical understanding of APIs, middleware, EDI, and file-based integrations.
Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with leading ERP and CRM platforms.
Experience integrating a WMS with external customers or trading partners.
Experience supporting a major WMS implementation or upgrade.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
