JOB DUTIES

This role will help drive a company wide information flow improvement project defined to improve how our product specifications and descriptive information is created, corrected, distributed and used to enable all aspects of engineering both internally and for our customers. This role will be responsible for driving defined improvement tasks within the overall framework. This project manager will be paired with our primary information architect for direction and priorities within the overall program. Understand the overall information flow initiative goals, framework, owners, and key milestones. Divide project into small segments, create schedule and budget for each segment. Assign segments of project to appropriate departments and explain roles to contributors. Monitor and ensure that all segments are completed smoothly and on schedule. Create a pleasant and positive work atmosphere where contributors are aware of their impact in the process. Coordinate between various departments to ensure issues are addressed. Overcome obstacles and bottlenecks with minimal disruption. Prepare alternate plans in the event the original encounters difficulties that are beyond human control. Assist in the preparation of project status and critical issues reports to executive staff.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, management information systems, engineering management or related field. 2-4 years in various project management roles involving large cross functional engineering projects. Possess strong management skills. Excellent motivational skills. Good leadership qualities. Strong communication skills. Good problem solving. Good knowledge of project subject and the business operations of various departments Key Responsibilities Govern the HR Shared Services JIRA intake process, partnering with process owners, Strategic Project Managers, HR Service Center leaders, and System Module Owners to assess requests, support prioritization, align resources, and develop timelines for new projects, HR Service Center work transfers, and HR system enhancements. Lead and support cross-functional HR projects and process improvement initiatives, coordinating stakeholders, requirements, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables. Develop and maintain project documentation, process maps, governance materials, and other tools to support consistent execution and stakeholder alignment. Create a monthly HR Technology summary of completed enhancements and the forward-looking pipeline. Strong Project Management and organization skills with knowledge of JIRA are a requirement.

MUST HAVE

PMP Cert and JIRA experience (or similar too)
