Onsite Contract Starts 9/16/2026 Ends 9/15/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking an Android Software Engineer for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in San Leandro, CA. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. In this role, the candidate will consult onplex initiatives for software engineering. The position focuses on Android application front-end development using Kotlin and involves working within a scrum team on retail applications. This person will review and analyze large-scale software engineering challenges and contribute to their resolution.

Responsibilities:

Consult onplex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering Review and analyzeplex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors Contribute to the resolution ofplex and multi-faceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, andpliance requirements Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel

Requirements:

5 years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or abination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education 4 years of Android development in a team or corporate/enterprise environment 3 years of Kotlin Development, Reactive Programming, coroutines, Dependency Injection (Dagger), Retrofit and, Jetpack architectureponent Technical degree or additional experience Desired skills: Fintech or banking experience Example applications in the app stores Pay range: $69.84 - $77.84 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
