Job Description

We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level. As a Software Engineer III - iOS at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial & Community Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives. Job responsibilities Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, thinking beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems. Create secure, high‑quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems. Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met by software code development. Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to continuously improve software applications and systems. Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture. Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience. Experience in designing and implementing iOS applications using Swift UI. Experience working with API integration. Experience in iOS frameworks like Foundation, UIKit, CocoaTouch, and Core Data. Experience using Xcode-provided tools like Debug Memory Graph, Debug View Hierarchy, and Instruments for profiling. Experience with one or more design patterns: MVC, MVVM, MVP, Singleton. Working knowledge of Git/Bitbucket version control. Created an application that is available in Apple's AppStore. Proficiency with Linux, Mac
OS X, GNU
tools, and scripting languages. Understanding of build systems and CI/CD (Jenkins). Experience with unit testing frameworks and code coverage tools for Swift. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Familiarity with modern front-end technologies. Exposure to cloud technologies.
