Sr Developer, IOS Mobile

Responsibilities The Senior iOS Software Engineer leads the design, development, and support of the Spirit Airlines' iOS mobile ecosystem. This role serves as a technical authority, ensuring the scalability and security of features powering booking, loyalty, and guest self-service. You will drive architectural decisions and partner with cross-functional leadership to deliver premium mobile solutions that redefine the guest experience. Contribute to the architecture, development, and maintenance of complex iOS applications using Swift. Define and enforce UI standards using UIKit and SwiftUI, ensuring strict adherence to Apple Human Interface Guidelines. Support junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, technical documentation, and pair programming. Contribute to technical strategy within Agile ceremonies, providing high-level effort estimations and risk assessments. Architect and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and streamline App Store delivery. Support production health by proactively monitoring performance and leading the resolution of complex production incidents. Establish best practices for security, modularity, accessibility, and long-term maintainability. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience 4-6 years of experience in software engineering. 5+ years of dedicated iOS application development. Proven track record of shipping and scaling high-traffic apps in the App Store. High level of proficiency in Swift and a deep understanding of the iOS SDK and Xcode. Deep expertise in Advanced Architectural Patterns (MVVM-C, VIPER, or Clean Architecture) and Combine/Async-Await. Experience with Modular Architecture and managing internal Swift Packages (SPM). Experience with REST/GraphQL integration and local data persistence. Strong influence in Automated Testing strategy (Unit, UI, and Snapshot testing). Mastery of Azure DevOps, Dynatrace, and Splunk; experience in high-transaction industries (Airline/Travel).
