We are seeking a highly skilled Android Developer with strong Kotlin expertise to join a fast-paced engineering team working onsite at JPMorgan Chase. The developer will collaborate closely with JPMC engineers to build and enhance a new component of the firm's self-directed investing platform, leveraging AI-driven development practices and modern mobile engineering standards. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, QA engineers, and JPMC developers Contribute to the development of a new self-directed investing offering Integrate AI-assisted development workflows and tools into the software development lifecycle Build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile applications Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best engineering practices Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions Required Qualifications Strong hands-on experience in native Android development Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin Solid understanding of Android SDK, app lifecycle, and architecture patterns Experience building complex, production-grade mobile applications Familiarity with REST APIs and backend integrations Experience with Git and modern CI/CD workflows Preferred Financial services or fintech experience Exposure to AI-assisted development tools
