We are seeking an experienced Android AOSP Software Engineer to design, implement, integrate, and optimize Android platform software for next-generation In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) seat box platforms. The engineer will work across Android framework, native services, hardware abstraction layers (HAL), display, graphics, multimedia, and virtualization stacks while collaborating with BSP, QNX/Linux, hardware, validation, security, and chipset teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimize Android AOSP framework and platform software. Develop and integrate Android native services, HALs, graphics, display, multimedia, and system components. Work on multi-display support, display configuration, rendering, lifecycle management, and performance optimization. Develop and support WindowManager, DisplayManager, SurfaceFlinger, Hardware Composer, and display pipelines. Integrate Android platforms with BSPs, Linux kernels, hardware peripherals, and Qualcomm-based SoCs. Support virtualization and multi-VM solutions involving Android, QNX, and Linux environments. Perform debugging, profiling, root-cause analysis, and system optimization. Develop production-quality software with unit, integration, compatibility, and system-level testing. Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, release management, and code quality processes. Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, code reviews, defect triage, and release activities.
