Android Developer Location:
Reston, VA (Onsite)
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of professional Android application development experience, preferably on large-scale consumer applications. Strong proficiency in Kotlin and native Android SDKs. Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose, reusable UI components, navigation, and responsive layouts. Experience integrating GraphQL and/or REST APIs and managing asynchronous data flows, caching, and complex client-side state. Practical knowledge of MVVM or Clean Architecture and modular application design. Experience with JUnit, Espresso, and UI automation frameworks. Strong understanding of Android app lifecycle, permissions, background execution, and device compatibility. Experience using Git-based development workflows, pull requests, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience developing customer-facing apps in telecommunications, broadband, connected home, media, payments, billing, or account management domains. Experience with backend-driven or server-driven
UI, JSON
schema-based rendering, or configurable customer journeys. Familiarity with OAuth 2.0, secure storage, identity, session management, API security, privacy, and mobile security practices. Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, feature flags, and A/B experimentation. Familiarity with Gradle and modern Android development tools and Google Play release processes
