Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is looking for an experienced engineer who can primarily contribute to a modern webapplication while also bringing enough native Android experience to support work across ourbroader customer experience. The pay range is between $21-$25/hr.
This is intentionally a cross-functional engineering role. The immediate focus will be webdevelopment and helping evolve Marketplace experience, while providingflexibility to contribute to our native Android application as priorities shift.
The ideal candidate is strongest in modern React/TypeScript development, comfortable workingacross the full web stack, and has meaningful professional Android/Kotlin experience. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong professional experience building production React and TypeScript applications.
Experience working across more than just the presentation layer and comfortableunderstanding APIs, server-side behavior, application architecture, and deployment concerns.
Professional Android development experience with Kotlin.
Ability to move between web and mobile work based on team priorities.
Strong understanding of REST APIs and client/server integration.
Experience with automated testing, CI/CD, debugging, and production support.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
