Background :
The mission of all training units in the FBI, to include Training Division (TD) is to provide training and professional development to the FBI workforce and our national security and law enforcement partners. Training Division specifically provides direction and support to FBI Headquarters (HQ) and field divisions in the planning and execution of career development training to include curriculum, funding, instruction, evaluation, tracking, reporting, and implementation for the FBI workforce and partnering agencies. The FBI requires curriculum development services that follow a systematic instructional systems design (ISD) process as detailed in the FBI's Technical Manual for Training Development; demonstrate expertise in the areas of graphic design, web design, eLearning development, animation, and audio/video editing; and support the strategic plan to bring awareness andrecognition to the FBI.
Position Description:
II Corps Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Multimedia Design Specialist to develop engaging multimedia training content. This role requires expertise in instructional design methodologies and advanced multimedia skills including graphic design, web design, eLearning development, animation, and audio/video editing. The ideal candidate will aid Instructional Systems Design Specialists (ISDs) analyze training needs, design learning solutions, and transform complex information into accessible, interactive experiences using tools like Lectora, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Suite, and HTML5/CSS/JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop instructional materials meeting organizational training objectives
- Apply instructional design principles for effective learning outcomes
- Create graphics, animations, and interactive elements
- Utilize HTML5/CSS/JavaScript for custom interactions
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex information
- Test and evaluate training materials for effectiveness Job Requirements (minimum): Qualified candidates must have 10+ years of experience as a Multimedia Specialist or similar role, with demonstrated proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (Lectora, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate) and Adobe Creative Suite.
Candidates need working knowledge of HTML5/CSS/JavaScript for custom interaction development, strong understanding of instructional design methodologies, excellent communication skills for collaborating with subject matter experts, and ability to manage multiple sensitive projects while maintaining security protocols. A bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field is preferred.
