The agency is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the position of Graphics and Visual Art Spec 3 within the Fulton County Board of Health in the Communications Division. Under broad supervision, assists with the development or management of visual concepts for routine and highly specialized projects or assignments by interpreting specifications from internal and external customers and translating these parameters into a finished product using the appropriate artistic medium. May serve as lead worker. Performs job responsibilities with minimal supervision Serves as job expert or organization resource in assigned areas Analyzes job design, ultimate use, volume and nature Consults with clients on publication and presentation projects Discusses needs and determines the scope of effort Coordinates the printing production process to ensure quality; may write printing and other reproduction specifications Exposes, processes, evaluates, and assesses quality, and inventory aerial photography for use in photogrammetric mapping, engineering studies, and graphic displays May direct and produce films May use computerized software such as Photoshop or CAD to enhance, size, or manipulate photos, graphics, renderings, or media Provides coordination and technical support for video and film production Provides professional-quality design, implementation, treatment, editing/proofing, and presentation of artistic products such as photographs (color, black and white, forensic or aerial), audio-visual presentations, slides, computer graphics, paintings, renderings, maps or publications May serve as a lead High school diploma/GED and five (5) years of professional job-related experience or equivalent combination of relevant education, training and experience; or two (2) years of experience required at the lower level Graphics and Visual Art Spec 2 (GSP031).
