Job DescriptionThis position is only open to candidates currently pursuing their associates degree from a community college or trade school. Those currently pursuing their bachelors degree or higher will not be considered for this role.

Early Career Apprentice ProgramWant to work in your field and train on the job? Join our 12-24-month apprentice program! You will earn and learn on the job, receive career guidance and mentorship, all while attending school.

The Client Development Apprentice supports efforts that build awareness and interest in the NGLS business unit within a defined business market. The role contributes to content development, LinkedIn activity, web updates, and communication projects that help introduce NGLS capabilities to existing and prospective clients. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn how client development and professional communication work in a large, well-established organization. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in developing outreach activities that help position NGLS within a specific B2B marketHelp maintain a content and activity calendar that supports client development prioritiesAssist with posting on LinkedIn, updating web content, and supporting communication projectsCreate clear, accurate, and engaging content that highlights the strengths of NGLS while bringing forward fresh approaches for reaching potential clientsDraft short-form messaging and/or longer copy for review by the Client Development leadership teamResearch market trends, industry topics, and competitor activity to support outreach strategiesIdentify relevant third-party articles or resources that can help broaden awareness of NGLSWork with cross-functional teams to ensure activities support broader company goalsUse practical audience engagement techniques to improve visibility and interestStay informed about trends in digital communication, B2B outreach, and market visibilityCoordinate work with the broader corporate communications scheduleComplete other tasks as assignedMinimum Skills and CompetenciesExperience using social media or digital tools for school, work, or personal projectsBasic understanding of business communication principles and audience awarenessPositive attitude with strong attention to detail and a customer focusAbility to manage multiple tasks with good organizational skillsStrong written and visual communication abilitiesInterest in client development and digital communicationsAble to work independently while also collaborating with team membersAbility to understand and uphold company policies related to social media and communicationsDesired SkillsAbility to create graphics or visual elements that support communication goalsComfort working on assignments that involve research, creativity, and project coordinationExperience with creative and presentation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Express, Illustrator, Acrobat, Stock, Photoshop, Premiere Pro), Canva, or PreziBasic photo or video editing skillsInterest in or basic knowledge of the insurance or mortgage lending industriesCompensation offered for this role is between $18 and $25 an hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
