C Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced SDET Automation Engineer with strong expertise in automation script development, maintenance, and testing of retail Point-of-Sale (POS) applications . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with test automation, API testing, SQL, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, maintain, and enhance automation scripts for retail POS applications. Design and execute automated test cases to validate POS functionality, integrations, and business workflows. Perform functional, regression, and end-to-end testing across retail applications. Troubleshoot automation failures, analyze test results, and improve test coverage. Collaborate with Development, QA, and Business teams to identify defects and ensure quality releases. Maintain automation frameworks, test data, and test execution processes. Integrate automation testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing. Validate retail transactions, payment flows, and customer-facing POS experiences. Analyze requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in QA Automation / SDET roles. Strong experience in automation script development and maintenance. Experience creating and executing automated test scripts for enterprise applications. Strong knowledge of UI automation and API testing . Experience with SQL and database validation. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments . Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions / CI/CD . Familiarity with Playwright and modern automation frameworks. Strong understanding of test automation methodologies and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience with Aptos Retail POS platform. In-person retail POS testing experience. Experience testing retail store applications and transaction workflows. Familiarity with payment processing and retail integrations. Experience designing and optimizing automation frameworks. Experience supporting large-scale retail implementations.
