Key Job Responsibilities Deploy and configure EDA tools from vendors (Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor/Siemens, etc.) across the compute infrastructure Develop automation and CI/CD/regression pipelines to streamline ASIC tasks, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency Troubleshoot tool issues and work with vendors to resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, or licensing problems Work with IT teams to optimize compute and storage strategies to enhance engineering efficiency Create and maintain documentation for tool usage, flow methodologies, and best practices Utilization of AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting and monitoring of design flows Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field 10+ years experience building and supporting CAD infrastructure for ASIC development Knowledge of scripting languages (bash, python, etc.) Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipeline implementation Experience leading technical initiatives and key deliverables Experience supporting the deployment of ASIC tools (e.g. Verilog simulation, synthesis, and license management) Experience using dashboarding tools for exploration and presentation, connected to real data sources
Compensation:
The national pay range for our technical roles is $100,000-$500,000. The national pay range for our non-technical roles is $75,000-$470,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience aligned with Upscale AI's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks.
