Application Administrator I - Jabil, Inc. Job Summary The Application Administrator I will be responsible for providing essential technical support and maintenance for various business applications within Jabil, Inc. This role focuses on ensuring the smooth operation, availability, and performance of critical software systems, contributing to efficient business processes. Job Responsibilities- Perform routine system administration tasks including user account management, access control, and permissions configuration.
- Monitor application performance and availability, identifying and troubleshooting basic issues.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and testing of new application releases and patches.
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users, addressing application-related inquiries and resolving common problems.
- Document application configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with senior administrators and development teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
- Participate in scheduled system maintenance activities, including backups and data integrity checks.
- Adhere to IT security policies and best practices to ensure data protection and system integrity.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of application support processes and documentation. Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science.
- 0-2 years of experience in an IT support role, preferably with exposure to application administration.
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network fundamentals.
- Familiarity with common business applications (e.g., ERP, CRM, MES) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving business needs.
