Job Description
Industrial Automation Controls Engineer Intellivation is seeking an individual with PLC Controls Engineering and
HMI / SCADA
programming skills to join our team. We are a locally owned and operated company that designs and builds innovative machinery used in the manufacturing of high-tech products for industries including aerospace, defense, medical, energy, and solar. Engineering, machining, welding, assembly, and commissioning are all performed at our site in Colorado factory. In this role, you will be involved in all phases of projects from conception to completion. We are located in a purpose-built 53,000 SF facility constructed in 2020 which is clean and bright. We are seeking a top-notch, experienced individual to perform PLC and HMI programming. If so, this is the job for you. The ideal individual for this role has at least 5 years ofPLC/SCADA
experience with RS Logix and System Platform, has strong electrical aptitude, a hands-on approach, is self-motivated, and able to creatively solve a variety of engineering challenges.Responsibilities:
- Ladder logic PLC programming using RS Logix software in conjunction with Rockwell Automation Allen-Bradley hardware.
- Siemens PLC Ladder logic PLC.
SCADA / HMI
programming using Wonderware System Platform software.- Development and testing of new software code.
- Commissioning machines.
- Supporting machines in the field remotely.
Requirements:
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, conscientious.
- Ability to work within a team and independently.
- Strong programming skills.
- Proven ability to communicate in verbal and written skills.
- Able to work indefinitely in the United States without need for sponsorship.
- Background Check is Required.
- Ability to travel domestically and abroad to customer sites (5% - 10% travel). Preferred
- A strong background or interest in mechanical systems and physics.
- ABET accredited electrical / controls engineering degree (bachelor or higher).
Position Details:
