Job Description We are seeking an experienced Automation Project Engineer to join our chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) team in Newark, DE. The Senior MT Automation Project Engineer leads the site-level execution, integration, and qualification of advanced automation and custom equipment projects in a semiconductor materials manufacturing environment. This role serves as the key link between Global Automation teams and site operations, owning the full lifecycle from project definition and SOW development through commissioning, change qualification, and operational handoff in a customer-sensitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Lead execution of complex automation capital projects from concept through startup
•  Develop project Statements of Work (SOWs) with leveraged engineering teams
•  Lead basic data development with stakeholders (ops, process, quality) to define equipment and system requirements
•  Integrate multi-disciplinary systems including robotics, vision inspection, web-handling, and contamination control systems
•  Coordinate installation, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and startup activities
•  Act as primary site interface to global automation teams; support design reviews and implementation alignment
•  Lead change qualification and validation activities, including MOC, risk assessments, and change review processes
•  Ensure all changes meet customer, quality, and regulatory requirements with minimal production disruption
•  Ensure compliance with machine safety, EHS, and internal standards
