Job Description
firstPRO is seeking a Cisco Meraki Network Engineer to support a multi-year network modernization initiative across multiple remote business locations. This hands-on role combines Meraki network support, hardware deployment, ISP coordination, vendor management, and project tracking. Key Responsibilities Support and troubleshoot Cisco Meraki networks across multiple remote locations. Configure and monitor switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and connectivity through the Meraki Dashboard. Identify and replace legacy or end-of-life network equipment. Plan, stage, configure, and deploy network hardware. Coordinate installation schedules with business locations, vendors, field technicians, and ISPs. Provide technical direction to third-party remote-hands teams. Complete Meraki configurations and validate connectivity following installations. Coordinate ISP installations, circuit upgrades, and WAN connectivity. Track multiple deployments, schedules, issues, dependencies, and completion status. Provide remote troubleshooting and ongoing network support. Maintain accurate network and deployment documentation. Escalate complex issues to senior network engineers as needed. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki and the Meraki Dashboard. Strong understanding of switching, routing, VLANs, firewalls, VPNs, WAN, and TCP/IP. Experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting network hardware. Experience coordinating with vendors, ISPs, field technicians, or remote locations. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple deployments and priorities simultaneously. Ability to work independently and as part of a network engineering team. Ability to work onsite 1-2 days per week. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting multi-site or branch networks. Experience with network hardware refresh or infrastructure modernization projects. Familiarity with additional Cisco technologies. Experience with ISP/circuit upgrades. Exposure to Azure networking or Meraki in Azure. Cisco or Meraki certifications/training.
