Doral, FL Job Description:
Serve as a Network engineer across enterprise and mission-network environments. Design and execute Network configurations Secure segmentation Routing, firewall/ACL changes Cutovers and validation Use Government-approved baselines to configure and deploy: Cisco Catalyst 9600/9400/9300/9200 Nexus 9300 Catalyst 8500L platforms Implement and validate: VLANs, IP addressing, BGP/HSRP, STP Port channels, routing, firewall/ACL policies High-availability/failover behavior Support SIPR/NIPR/Coalition segmentation and coordinate cross-domain pathways Without assuming ownership of Government boundary devices Establish pathways for mission systems Validate Link 16, Link 22, JREAP and CoT connectivity Perform STIG/configuration compliance validation Troubleshoot cutovers, execute rollback procedures, document as-built configurations Integrate devices into SolarWinds, Cisco DNA Center and related monitoring systems
Qualifications :
8+ years of experience supporting secure DoD networks CCNP-level Cisco routing/switching expertise Hands-on experience with the following: Cisco Catalyst 9K and Nexus 9K BGP, HSRP, VLANs, STP, port channels and high availability STIG and Government configuration baselines Firewall/ACL policy implementation experience SIPR/NIPR and secure enclave experience Hands-on C8500L/IOS-XE and Nexus NX-OS experience (preferred) Cross-domain coordination (preferred) Tactical Data Link familiarity: Link 16/22, JREAP and CoT (preferred)
