This role focuses on maintaining secure, reliable connectivity across routing, firewall, and core networking environments while helping improve overall network performance. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Cisco infrastructure and Palo Alto security platforms in a production setting.

Responsibilities:

Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco routing infrastructure to ensure stable and efficient network performance. Administer Palo Alto firewall environments, including policy updates, security rule management, and issue resolution. Support Cisco ASA platforms by monitoring firewall health, refining configurations, and addressing connectivity problems. Manage and optimize Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) routing to maintain resilient external network communications. Monitor network availability and respond to incidents affecting performance, security, or uptime. Collaborate with internal technical teams to implement network improvements and support infrastructure projects. Document network configurations, operating procedures, and troubleshooting steps to support ongoing operations. Hands-on experience working with Cisco routers in an enterprise network environment. Practical knowledge of Palo Alto firewall administration and security policy management. Experience supporting Cisco ASA firewalls and related network security functions. Strong understanding of Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and routing concepts. Solid background in Cisco networking, including configuration, troubleshooting, and performance support. Ability to diagnose network issues methodically and resolve problems in a timely manner.
