• Design, prototype, program, debug, and commission controls for production line machinery.
• Specify, source, select, and procure control and power components based on proposed machine designs.
• Collaborate with the design team on prototyping, testing, evaluating, and approving designs.
• Develop, design, prototype, program, debug, and commission control systems for the following: linear and rotary motors, servomotors, actuators (electromagnetic, pneumatic, and hydraulic), sensors (optical and touch based), programmable controllers and IO interfaces including touchscreens.
• Design and program network communications applications.

Shall work as a part of a project-oriented engineering and design team developing machines for individual customers (these machines are unlikely to be made more than once!).
