This role provides network engineering support for SUNCOM voice and data services statewide. Responsibilities Coordinate with internal DMS staff and occasionally external customers on application maintenance and enhancements Monitor network performance and assist with reporting on connectivity, security, and DNS issues escalated from the NOC Develop technical documentation and status reports for stakeholders Assist with coordinating network maintenance activities Serve as a project team member, occasionally as team lead; may mentor junior technical staff Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent work experience 3-5 years of IT experience in infrastructure/network environments (network engineering hardware/software, design, planning, implementation) Strong verbal and technical writing skills Must be able to pass a Florida state criminal background screening (6-year lookback) Must be able to work onsite full-time in Tallahassee, FL Additional Requirements Candidates must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Tallahassee area (onsite role, no remote work permitted) U.S. work authorization required and must be verifiable for the full contract duration through June 2027
