Ava Kulinski Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support a company supporting the Department of Defense. This position is onsite at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL. This is a unique opportunity supporting a network modernization effort within a classified CENTCOM environment. Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include:- Assess existing Cisco Catalyst switching infrastructure and network topology.
- Identify configuration gaps, single points of failure, and resiliency improvements.
- Implement approved changes on Cisco Catalyst 9300X switches.
- Validate Layer 2 and Layer 3 network functionality after modernization efforts.
- Perform failover, redundancy, and convergence testing.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues across switches, servers, and storage systems.
- Develop network diagrams, configuration documentation, and as-built records.
