Job Description
We are looking for a Network Engineer to support and enhance enterprise network operations in Brunswick, Georgia. This position focuses on maintaining secure, reliable connectivity across core infrastructure while helping improve performance and resilience. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking environments, routing protocols, and firewall administration.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize network infrastructure built on Cisco routing and switching technologies to ensure dependable day-to-day operations.
- Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls to maintain security, availability, and policy compliance.
- Administer Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) routing and resolve complex connectivity issues affecting internal and external network traffic.
- Investigate network performance concerns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions that improve stability and throughput.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to plan, test, and deploy network changes with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Create and maintain accurate technical documentation for configurations, topology, standards, and support procedures.
- Support infrastructure upgrades, maintenance activities, and other network-related changes while following established change control practices.
