Job Description
We are looking for a Network Engineer to support and enhance enterprise network operations in Brunswick, Georgia. This role focuses on maintaining secure, reliable connectivity across critical infrastructure while helping improve performance, resilience, and overall network health. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience with Cisco-based environments and firewall administration, along with the ability to troubleshoot complex routing and security issues.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize network infrastructure built on Cisco routing and switching technologies to ensure stable day-to-day operations.
- Configure, monitor, and support Palo Alto and Cisco ASA firewalls, maintaining strong security controls across the environment.
- Manage dynamic routing operations, including BGP configuration and troubleshooting, to sustain dependable connectivity between networks.
- Investigate network incidents and performance concerns, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Apply network changes, upgrades, and configuration updates with careful attention to uptime, security, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to plan, document, and improve network architecture and connectivity solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of network configurations, topology details, and operational procedures to support ongoing administration.
- Evaluate current network performance and recommend improvements that strengthen capacity, availability, and security posture.
