Position Title:

Data Warehouse Engineer Description Job Overview AGS is seeking a Data Warehouse Engineer to support Business Intelligence in leading the migration, maintenance and continued enhancement of our onpremise, multisystem reporting environment into Microsoft Fabric. This role will architect, implement, and manage our unified cloud data platformenabling advanced analytics, AI, selfservice reporting, and modern data governance. The ideal candidate has deep experience in data engineering and Microsofts cloud analytics ecosystem. Responsibilities Migration & Architecture Assess current data sources, ETLs, and reporting frameworks. Lead the endtoend migration of BI, reporting, and ETL processes into Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Pipelines). Modernize or replace legacy

processes with Fabricnative solutions. Design and implement a centralized, scalable, and secure Fabric data architecture for both batch and streaming data. Data Engineering Develop and maintain ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines. Build and optimize Delta Lakehouse tables, semantic models, and datasets for reporting and AI workloads. Ensure data quality, lineage, and compliance with governance standards. Integrate data from Business Central, Dynamics Field Service, Salesforce, custom SQL sources, and AGSi streaming data. Platform Management Manage Fabric capacities, workspaces, permissions, and cost optimization. Monitor platform performance, reliability, and data refresh SLAs. Apply best practices for Fabric security, data governance, and CI/CD automation. CrossFunctional Collaboration Partner with BI, Data Science, and business teams to enable machine learning and realtime analytics. Support the development of a scalable selfservice data and reporting environment. Skills/Requirements 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering. Handson experience with Microsoft Fabric, Datawarehouse, Data Lake, Spark, or similar cloud data platforms. Strong SQL skills and proficiency with Python or PySpark. Experience migrating from onprem

to cloudbased architectures. Solid understanding of Delta Lake, medallion architecture, semantic modeling, and data governance. Experience with Power BI dataset modeling and performance tuning. Familiarity with streaming technologies (Event Hub, Kafka, Fabric RealTime Analytics). Exposure to AI integration, semantic models for AI, or Microsoft Copilot. Experience with Dynamics 365, Business Central, Salesforce, or similar systems is a plus. Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and best practices. Any Microsoft certification in a related data, analytics, or MS Fabric field is a plus. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problemsolving skills. Excellent communication and ability to work with both technical and nontechnical teams. Proactive ownership mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
