Job Description

Salary:
$70,720.00 to $89,689.60
Hours:
Monday- Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. Works in the evening, weekend, and holiday rotations.
Job summary:
Under general supervision, manages the Library's local and wide area networks, including physical and wireless network infrastructure components and cabling. Installs, manages, maintains and troubleshoots server and database software and hardware. Manages servers and infrastructure in virtual platforms and cloud environments. Maintains the Library's internet connection and associated services. Serves in the On-Call Tech Help daily rotation, weekend and evening rotations.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution and two years of related experience; or a Master's degree and one year of related experience or six years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Education in management information systems or computer science. Must pass criminal background check. The City of Iowa City is an eligible employer under Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.
