JOB SUMMARY
The Support Analyst's role is to ensure properputer operation so that end users can aplish business tasks. This includes receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop level. Provides backup support for PAC's administration, telmunications, Multi-Function ers, and other ers. Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities: Bachelor's degree inputer science or a business degree desirable. 2-year degree may be substituted if inbination with 4 or more years of progressively more advanced experience. Further experience in the field may be substituted for a formal degree. 3 or more years of experience in positions relating toputer hardware and software support. Must possess a valid Iowa driver's license and meet satisfactory motor vehicle record requirements. Must maintain and provide proof of his/her own auto insurance policy. Ability to read andmunicate effectively in English. Firm understanding ofputer applications. Ability tomunicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team. Effective oral and writtenmunication skills. Technical and problem solving skills related toputerized processes. Knowledge of health care field preferred.
