Responsibilities:
90% of work is completed on-site at our customer's facility located around Elk Grove, IL Provide IT Infrastructure field support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and operating system issues to the satisfaction of the end-user. Install, troubleshoot, and fix desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals hardware problems as well as desktop applications. Troubleshoot issues with systems and networks using good deductive reasoning skills. Multitask and work with various deadlines. Complete tasks on-time. Function in stressful environments & situations.
Requirements:
Three to four years minimum of experience providing IT Infrastructure field support. Strong knowledge of business LAN and WAN setups, TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP. Skilled in desktop support and PC break/fix including administration of Windows OS, including Windows Server OS. Experience with anti-malware and anti-virus software. Experience with hypervisors, including Hyper-V and VM Ware. Good written and oral communication skills with clients and management as well as people skills. Ability to lift/move computer equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
Required skills:
multi-task, desktop support, server support, malware removal, networking, active directory, exchange, ERP, help desk, and organized. You must have reliable transportation. Client sites are located throughout the Chicago suburbs.
