Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Primary Skills
- Operating Systems o Windows Server (2019, 2022, 2025) o Basic Linux administration (nice to have)
Database Tools:
o Functional knowledge and configuration experience in both SSMS and Oracle TOAD Query & Scripting o Ability to debug scripts and troubleshoot SQL queries independently o Database backup/restore o Basic performance tuning- Web & Application Servers o IIS o Web Deploy o Application pool configuration o Reverse proxy concepts
- Infrastructure o VMware / Hyper-V o Active Directory o
DNS, DHCP
o Group Policy o Certificate management (SSL/TLS) o PowerShell scripting- Networking o TCP/IP o Firewalls o Load balancers o Port management o Network troubleshooting
Secondary Skills:
Apriso Expertise:
o Understanding of GPM (Global Production Manager) and Deployment processes o Understanding of other Apriso applications line Desktop Client and Process BuilderProblem Solving:
o Basic root-cause analysis (RCA) skills for deployment failures and configuration errorsSoft Skills:
o Good communication to coordinate with Plant and other stakeholders for the technical issues o Good documentation of the new processes and enhancement of existing processes Roles & ResponsibilitiesServer Builds:
Core and Plant server builds for UAT and Production Environments o Prerequisites for All Server Types o Database related activities o Windows Roles configuration o Apriso application Installation o Post Installation Changes o Remote Desktop Web Client Setup o MPI and OPC Server Builds- MES Upgrades o MES Upgrade activity for Major upgrade, example: Apriso 2019 to Apriso 2026 o MES Upgrade activity for Minor upgrade, example release upgrade within Apriso 2019 o Post upgrade support to plants
- Documentation of new added processes along with checklist, enhancement of existing documents
- Validation of deployment packages using standard deployment procedures
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for deployment failures and configuration-related issues
- Coordinate with development, QA, and production support teams during application deployments and
