Job Description Position Overview:
The Network Engineer will support network program initiatives by coordinating technical tasks, managing hardware readiness, and partnering with engineering, operations, and third-party resources. The engineer will help fill existing workflow gaps, track required data, and execute routing and switching tasks to ensure network devices are delivered, configured, and documented correctly.
Responsibilities:
Support routing and switching tasks; bring network devices online and validate readiness. Apply base configurations, participate in change control processes, and support onboarding workflows. Track hardware, shipments, staging status, and ensure data ties back to the correct project. Log and route engineering tickets, including those coordinated with the customer's third party Collaborate with engineering resources to ensure work is assigned, clarified, and executed effectively. Maintain proactive oversight of third-party teams to ensure timelines and deliverables are met in coordination with the Project Manager Gather, organize, and maintain wireless documentation including floor plans and AutoCAD artifacts. Assist with defining what support would look like without third-party involvement and help operationalize workflows. Identify gaps in processes and coordinate with project managers to address any Support downstream partners such as wireless deployment teams and electrical teams as project dependencies arise.
Job Requirements Qualifications:
Required:
Hands-on routing and switching skills; able to bring devices online and apply base network configurations. Experience supporting network implementation, onboarding, or operations. Ability to coordinate tasks, identify gaps, and maintain structured documentation. Ability to work within ticketing workflows and change control processes. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and managed-service partners. Ability to track data and documentation across multiple project workstreams.
Preferred:
Experience with wireless documentation (floor plans, AutoCAD). Background working with managed service providers Experience in enterprise-scale network refresh or deployment environments.
