Job Description

Mental/Physical Effort:
Work performed is varied in nature and requires prolonged periods of close concentration to details and accuracy. Demands initiative and decision making in possibly controversial and/or emotional issues. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Sitting for extended periods of time. Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools and to handle other computer and network components. Inspection of cables in floors, ceilings and wiring closets. Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects such as computers, switches, UPS and other peripherals.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. May require a bachelors degree in Information Systems, area of specialty and/or 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Proven experience in designing, implementing and managing network infrastructure. Two to four years actively engaged in troubleshooting and resolving network issues.
