Full-time, long-term contract (w/ benefits and PTO) Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Network Support Technician to support both office and manufacturing environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, and a commitment to delivering timely, accurate support. Key Responsibilities Respond to IT user requests and resolve incidents across office and plant environments. Provide desktop, laptop, and mobile phone support. Support plant operations by participating in IT-related project activities. Image, configure, and deliver new computers to users. Monitor infrastructure needs and report issues to the central IT team. Troubleshoot connectivity issues and support complex manufacturing applications, including hardwired/wireless connections and Windows server shared folder permissions. Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, wired and wireless network connections . Troubleshoot and perform basic configuration of Cisco switches, Cisco wireless access points, network ports, and related connectivity issues . Assist with Cisco switch port configuration, VLAN assignments, device replacements, and network equipment installations as needed. Troubleshoot Cisco AnyConnect VPN client issues and assist users with remote connectivity. Monitor network and infrastructure equipment and escalate complex network issues to the central network/IT team. Assist with network-related projects, including Cisco equipment deployments, network changes, site installations, and equipment upgrades . Troubleshoot connectivity issues involving manufacturing equipment, applications, and industrial systems , working with plant personnel and vendors as needed. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for network and IT project-related work. Maintain accurate documentation of network equipment, connections, ports, and infrastructure changes. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum 5 years of IT Support or Network Technician experience . Experience supporting IT environments within manufacturing or industrial environments . Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and troubleshooting. Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, LAN/WAN, and wired/wireless networking . Hands-on experience troubleshooting Cisco switches and wireless access points . Experience with Cisco switch ports, VLANs, basic switch configuration, and network connectivity troubleshooting . Experience troubleshooting Cisco AnyConnect VPN is preferred. General knowledge of manufacturing-specific applications, systems, and network-connected equipment. Strong communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Pay:
