Job Description:
Field Support Technician - Network IP Project📍 Burlington, MA 💼 6+ Month ContractWe are seeking a Field Support Technician to support a large, integrated healthcare system in Massachusetts as part of a critical infrastructure initiative to reconfigure network-connected devices during a large-scale IP address remediation project. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role focused primarily on updating and validating printer connectivity across healthcare facilities while providing general IT support as needed.

Project FocusThe primary responsibility of this role is supporting a network re-IP initiative across hospital, clinical, and administrative locations. Technicians will work directly with end users to update and validate printer configurations, ensuring devices remain operational following network changes. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in healthcare environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupport a large-scale IP address remediation project across healthcare facilitiesIdentify, reconfigure, and validate network-connected printers and peripheral devices impacted by network changesWork directly with clinical and business users to coordinate device updates and minimize disruptionVerify printer functionality, connectivity, and print services following IP address changesTroubleshoot printer, network, and connectivity issues related to device reconfigurationProvide Tier 1-2 in-person field support as needed outside of the project scopeSupport PCs, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices (iOS/Android)Document work performed and update tickets within the ITSM ticketing systemCommunicate effectively with end users, field services teams, and project stakeholdersDeliver excellent customer service while working in clinical and patient care environmentsRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED1-3 years of Field Support, Desktop Support, or IT Support experience in a large enterprise environmentHands-on experience supporting:

Network printers and print servicesWindows 10/11 environmentsMicrosoft Office / O365Active DirectoryBasic networking conceptsExperience supporting mobile devices (iOS & Android)Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow or RemedyUnderstanding of basic network fundamentals, including:
