Job Description

Senior Network Engineer Our New TeammateYou will be responsible for designing, maintaining, implementing, and troubleshooting our clients networks. You will work in a collaborative environment to provide cutting edge solutions and customer service.

You can expect to spend your time accomplishing the following:
  • 85% of time on Objective 1: Completing customer projects and solutions
  • 10% of time on Objective 2: Prioritization, planning, and scheduling
  • 5% of time on Objective 3: Professional growth and developmentJob Responsibilities - What to Expect
  • Design, implement, and support LAN, WLAN, and WAN network infrastructure.
  • Serve as technical escalation point.
  • Create and maintain technical and process documentation.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure related hardware or network connectivity issues.
  • Perform testing and validation of new hardware and code.
  • Lead the design, test, and implementation of network proposals.
  • Provide consultation support to internal and external partners for network infrastructure design and enhancements. Your Knowledge & Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or engineering related field (Preferred)
  • 10 years of experience in a computer related field.
  • JNCIP or CCNP (Required)
  • JNCIE or CCIE (Service Provider Preferred)
  • ITIL 4 Foundation (Preferred)
  • Experience in production network environments.
  • Experience in the configuration and deployment of Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba switches, routers, and wireless access points.
  • Experience with the design, troubleshooting and configuration of network protocols such as BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, MPLS, and Spanning Tree.
  • Experience with leading the design and delivery of network projects.
  • Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Experience with the creation and maintenance of documentation such as operating procedures and network diagrams.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time, priority, and task management skills.
  • Familiarity with enterprise and user networks a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple assigned tasks concurrently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Python and Ansible experience a plus.
  • Previous experience with Metro Ethernet networks and infrastructure a plus.
