Technology, Software, IT, Electronics Description Description Varen, an SAIC company is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. This position in located in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Provides high-performance, highly available networking services to support business and mission needs. Responsible for engineering and operational assignments related to deployed solutions backed by Cisco and SolarWinds on multi-level IT systems. Provides O&M support for networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls, encryption devices, copper/fiber connectivity). Supports internal escalation tiers for advanced troubleshooting and rapid remediation of networking challenges. Maintains documentation for networking systems, subsystems, and components, including capacity and performance plans. Qualifications Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience. Experience in lieu of a degree will be considered. Cisco and SolarWinds required. TS/SCI with polygraph.

Target salary range:

$160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
