Job Description

Local Area Network Engineer -
Bath, Maine Salary Range:
$67,000-77,000 Generous PTO, 401K, Health Insurance Package In-Depth Engineering seeks multiple Local Area Network Engineers (LAN) to support our Aegis Ship Integration and Test (SI&T) program, ensuring equipment is operable, available for testing, and sea trials. This is a permanent, full-time position and the work will be performed at our customer site in Bath, Maine and may require 25% TDY travel. Candidates for consideration must be a US citizen and be able to obtain an active Department of Defense secret clearance.
Duties:
System integration, test, and troubleshooting Preventative and corrective maintenance for Aegis System Computing Infrastructure (ACI) Responsible for equipment suites, setup configurations, equipment interfaces, and data extraction Activation and operation of tactical computing environment Perform test procedures and documentation (discrepancies, revisions) Serve as the System Administrator for the Aegis Weapon System (AWS) Fiber optic testing and troubleshooting Assist with computer program/equipment changes as necessary
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 0-4 years of experience or a minimum of 8 years of related experience in lieu of degree Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems Operational/Configuration knowledge of Cisco network hardware/software Strong oral and written communication skills Must be US Citizen and ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance In-Depth Engineering provides a competitive package of salary and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a Safe Harbor 401k program, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), STD, LTD, life insurance, and tuition assistance for higher education.
