Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Networking
- Strong understanding of: o Ethernet o TCP/IP o ARP o DNS o DHCP Routing Protocols
- BGP
- OSPF
- IS-IS
- ECMP Datacenter Technologies
- Spine-Leaf Architectures
VXLAN EVPN
- Fabric Networking
- Overlay and Underlay Networks
- High Availability Designs Vendor Platforms Experience with one or more:
- Cisco Nexus
- Arista EOS
Juniper MX/QFX Roles & Responsibilities Operations:
- Work on Tier-2 and Tier-3 incidents and service requests for datacenter network infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues affecting production environment.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive steps.
- Participate in on-call rotation and escalation support.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity.
Projects:
- Participate in Design and deployment of datacenter network solutions.
- Implement network expansion projects and infrastructure upgrades.
- Support network migrations, refreshes, and capacity planning initiatives.
- Develop and maintain network architecture documentation and topology diagrams.
- Participate in infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
- Participate in automation and standardization process.
Security:
- Configure ACLs and network security controls.
- Support firewall integrations and segmentation requirements with the Security team Generic Managerial Skills, If any
- Working in large multicultural teams in onsite-offshore Model
- Good customer facing communication skills and Team management skills
