You will play a pivotal role in optimizing network performance and ensuring the stability of advanced control systems, collaborating with a dedicated team to drive innovation and efficiency.Responsibilities:
Develop and implement network deployment tools using scripting languages such as Python or C#. Provide expert support and troubleshooting for industrial network environments, encompassing various vendor technologies. Collaborate closely with network leads to understand requirements and provide strategic direction for network solutions. Support plant operations by diagnosing and resolving complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance. Engage in a mix of independent work and team collaboration to achieve project goals and maintain network integrity.Required Skills & Experience:
•Bachelor's Degree (any field, Engineering or Computer Science preferred). Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in network engineering or a related field. Proficiency in scripting/programming with Python or C#. Demonstrated experience with industrial networking protocols, specifically EtherNet/IP. Hands-on experience with either Cisco or Hirschmann industrial networking equipment.Preferred Skills & Experience:
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with global common hardware standards. Familiarity with global common software standards. Experience with Visual Basic scripting. Proficiency with both Cisco and Hirschmann industrial networking equipment.About Aquent Talent:
