Job Description The Automation Engineer will: Manage small-scale projects or multiple tasks within the automation discipline. Collaborate closely with leaders and production operators to drive continuous improvement. Diagnose and resolve minor issues with current automation systems. Work with operators, technicians, and vendors to troubleshoot complex issues with minimal guidance. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, datasheets, and system reports. Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to implement procedures, address malfunctions, and provide technical support. Prioritize tasks and adjust workflow to meet evolving business needs independently. Produce schematics, blueprints, and work instructions for small to medium‑scale projects. Source components and prepare detailed specifications for equipment and material purchases. Use computer‑aided engineering and design tools to support automation projects.
