- Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
- who can
- independently design and build an end-to-end test automation framework from scratch
- . The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in
- Automation, Selenium, Playwright, and Java
- , and will play a key role in defining testing standards and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
- Required Skills Qualifications
- + •Proven experience building automation frameworks from scratch independently•+ •Strong experience in Test Automation•concepts and methodologies + Hands-on experience with •Selenium WebDriver•+ Hands-on experience with •Playwright•+ Strong programming skills in •Java•+ Experience with test frameworks such as •TestNG, JUnit, or similar•+ Experience testing web-based applications + Understanding of •CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, etc.

- Git•+ Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills + Excellent communication and collaboration skills •Key Responsibilities•+ •Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks from scratch•with minimal guidance + Own the •architecture, tool selection, and best practices•for automation solutions + Develop and maintain automated test scripts using •Selenium and Playwright•+ Write clean, reusable, and scalable automation code using •Java•+ Establish automation standards, coding guidelines, and reporting mechanisms + Integrate automation frameworks with •CI/CD pipelines•+ Execute functional, regression, smoke, and integration tests + Analyze test failures, log defects, and collaborate closely with development teams + Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices + Continuously enhance framework performance, reliability, and coverage The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:80987-95374 Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws.
