Role:

The infrastructure team needs a hands-on VMware/VCF Subject Matter Expert to build, configure, and maintain enterprise virtualization standards. This role is focused on working with physical hardware and vSphere environments, driving infrastructure automation, and managing modern VCF 9.x environments, including workload domains and Kubernetes deployments.

Must Haves:

Must-Have #1: VMware & Hardware Configuration (SME Level) Minimum years / depth: Senior hands-on engineering depth with physical hardware and virtualization Specific tools/systems: vSphere, ESXi physical hardware provisioning, and infrastructure standards configuration Must-Have #2: Broadcom / VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9.x) Minimum years / depth: Deep technical expertise in modern VCF environments Specific tools/systems: VCF 9.x architecture, workload domain creation, and management Must-Have #3: Infrastructure Automation & Containers Minimum years / depth: Practical experience integrating automation and container orchestration Specific tools/systems: Infrastructure automation tooling and Kubernetes (Tanzu/VCF integration) Day to

Day:

On a daily basis, this SME performs hands-on hardware setup and configures vSphere to maintain strict enterprise infrastructure standards. They work heavily in the VCF 9.x ecosystem—setting up workload domains, deploying Kubernetes clusters, and driving infrastructure automation across the platform.

Compensation Hourly Rate:

70$-73$ per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
