The Field Engineer is responsible for all on-site technical work performed at the DEX client site. The Field Engineer works closely with centralized services (Helpdesk, NOC, Project Engineering) to coordinate tasks that require physical presence where clients have office locations. This position allows you to exercise high-levels customer service and technical acumen. Job description : Travel to client sites to perform reactive and proactive technical support for clients and end users. Resolving technical issues including, but not limited to: Microsoft Operating Systems Windows Server (2008/2012/2016/2019) Workstation/ Server Hardware Peripheral Devices (including printers, scanners, etc.) Networking - Including Routers, switches, firewalls, cloud and virtualization-based technologies Common Client Server Applications Will be on-call as necessary
