Job DescriptionInternship SummaryThe Winsupply Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to build valuable skills through immersive classroom learning, off-site training, and a collaborative capstone project. The program is structured to promote professional development by offering mentorship, meaningful networking opportunities, and hands-on experience in real-world projects. Participants will not only develop their careers but also make a significant impact within the Winsupply organization, contributing to innovative solutions and long-term success.
Position Summary We are a leading provider of telecommunications. As a Network Engineer Intern, you will be a vital part of our team, gaining hands-on experience in the management and maintenance of network operations hardware. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to develop practical skills in network connectivity, datacenter network systems, and telecommunications systems.
Provision and deploy network equipment and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Communicate and work with other technical teams to design effective solutions, identify technical requirements, and develop project plans to execute the delivery of the solution.
Support in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues related to network and server equipment.
Participate in scheduled maintenance and updates, following established procedures.
Assist in conducting regular audits of network operations assets and inventory.
Help maintain network security protocols, including monitoring access logs and enforcing security policies.
Support network testing, ensuring system integrity and availability.
Plan and estimate projects and track progress using software applications including Jira, Cherwell, Smartsheet, etcConstantly learn new technologies and skills via media, courses, or new applicationsWireless network design and support
Support the documentation and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other relevant documentation.
Participate in the maintenance of fire suppression, HVAC, and other critical systems within the facility.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge of network operations.
Contribute to special projects as assigned, including data analysis and process improvement initiatives.

Initial point of contact for escalation issues for connectivity and network performance.Provision and deploy network equipment and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Communicate and work with other technical teams to design effective solutions, identify technical requirements, and develop project plans to execute the delivery of the solution.
Support in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues related to network and server equipment.
Participate in scheduled maintenance and updates, following established procedures.
Assist in conducting regular audits of network operations assets and inventory.
Network Monitoring and Maintenance:
Monitor network performance and respond to alerts in a timely manner.Help maintain network security protocols, including monitoring access logs and enforcing security policies.
Support network testing, ensuring system integrity and availability.
Plan and estimate projects and track progress using software applications including Jira, Cherwell, Smartsheet, etcConstantly learn new technologies and skills via media, courses, or new applicationsWireless network design and support
Facility Management Support:
Assist in data center cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols.Support the documentation and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other relevant documentation.
Participate in the maintenance of fire suppression, HVAC, and other critical systems within the facility.
Collaboration and Learning:
Work closely with network operations staff to learn best practices and operational procedures.Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge of network operations.
Contribute to special projects as assigned, including data analysis and process improvement initiatives.
